SpiceJet To Fly Voters To Delhi For Free

SpiceJet Airlines has vowed to be a force multiplier in the biggest festival of democracy, the Indian elections. The airline announced on its Twitter that it will fly Indian voters to participate in the Delhi Assembly elections.

The Delhi Assembly elections are going to be held on the 8th Feb 2020. The results will be declared on 11th Feb 2020. Every year many voters give a long queue of excuses as to why they missed the voting day for one reason or the other. This amazing initiative by Spicejet has been called ‘Spice Democracy’ and is really another good reason you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to vote.

Calling upon all the registered voters of India to give their mandate, SpiceJet wrote on twitter, “No obstacle is big enough to stop us from being a part of our great democracy. Introducing #SpiceDemocracy.  If you are a registered voter in Delhi, fly back home with SpiceJet and cast your vote. Your tickets will be on us.”

The offer is open for participation from January 30 to February 08, 2020. To begin, one needs to register on the Spice Jet website for Spice Democracy offer and share the inspiration to vote on Twitter using the hashtag #SpiceDemocracy. 

The flyer will give a full refund of the roundtrip to people who will fly to Delhi and back on February 8, 2020. Other flyers flying towards Delhi on the 7th Feb and going back on the 9th February will get only a one-way ticket refund from Spicejet. Notably, Spicejet will only refund the base fare for the passengers. All other charges incurred will be paid by the passengers.
