Robert Herjavec, the “Nice Shark” on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank, will join Utah Small Business Tech Day on Thursday, November 16, for an interview to discuss technology and the future of small businesses. Herjavec has a massively successful career in cybersecurity. His company, Cyderes, provides the people, processes and technology to manage risk and detect and respond to any cyber threats. His IT company quickly became one of North America’s fastest growing technology companies.

In an exclusive interview, Shark Tank celebrity Robert Herjavec will share his unique insights on technology, automation, cybersecurity and much more from the perspective of both an investor and a long-time technology entrepreneur.

Robert Herjavec will be speaking about what he recommends small business owners do to ensure their business is on track for serious growth in 2024. He plans to share his best insights on how using technology and automation will help Utah businesses beat out competitors.

In addition to running his business, Robert is an executive producer of Shark Tank and a founder and investor on Canada’s Dragons’ Den. Robert’s decade-long streak on Shark Tank has led to more than 57 deals with small business owners and entrepreneurs all across the country.

Host, Greg Mauer, Founder & CEO of qnectU (an IT, Cybersecurity, and Compliance Service Provider), said, "Having Robert as the featured speaker was an easy decision. He is not only a well known celebrity, but also a highly intelligent business owner and entrepreneur. He knows what makes small businesses successful and he will provide that information to attendees, which is invaluable."

Small Business Tech Day is a free event for small business leaders to discover the best technology and practices to increase their profitability and protect them from online threats.
