Alcoholism Treatment Program Launches “Thrive In Recovery” Prevention Podcast

Newly launched "Thrive in Recovery" podcast focuses on relapse prevention with a family focus. It provide a form of support and encouragement to alcohol dependence remission and their families.

In exciting news, Serenity Oaks Wellness Center’s owner Jon Lasko announced the launch of the Serenity Oaks Podcast aptly named “Thrive in Recovery.” The newly launched podcast focuses on relapse prevention with a family focus. It will seek to provide a form of support and encouragement to not only the people in drug and alcohol dependence remission but also their families and loved ones that act as a major support system once the client has left the alcohol and drug addiction treatment center.

A family is deeply involved in every process of addiction from the creation of the addict to the process of recovery. Through experience, experts at Serenity Oaks Wellness Drug Detox Center have identified that in many cases of addiction, family dysfunction can be a cause of an addiction. Changing these negative aspects within the family can help in the recovery and prevention phase. This particular aspect will enable other families listening to the podcast to have a sense of reliability, it will give them a chance to know that they are not alone in this, and there is a way to solve this issue like many others have done before.
